If so, how is your experience?

Buyers don't look for financing and its foreign so they don't jump on a forsale listing on zillow.I've had the best (only) luck with zillow rental adds,   starting with the pitch;  rent to own, live in a great home while you pay off owning it. 

My biggest question when I was researching all the programs was "If these people are so successful at what they do, why are they charging so much for all of this and always trying to upsell?" 

The property listed for 200k, so we talked them down to 190k and they are covering 2k of down payment.

So, I would start my search within a 1/2 mile radius and then expand to 1 mile if I need to. 3.

if it’s illegal today, I don’t want inspector to show up and have more problemsI read about houses build before 1957 so if in current condition I would go to the city to get permitted, would 7ft ceiling still be a problem?

@Corey Curtin has been a stellar agent for my clients.I heard things that involve the city like zoning/permits can take a while in Birmingham compared to other AL markets so I'd be cautious of that. 

Even if you handle management yourself, budget at least 10% for property management costs so you’re already prepared to scale.

So you need to ask yourself: is this something I want to do?
