Allen,I went to Google and searched for "Maryland REIA".There are 13,100 posts there.The first one I opened gave a list of 6 REIAs.Google is a wonderful tool and I suggest you just replicate what I did.Spend a little time there on research to find one that is close to you.REIAs are always eager to get new members and you'll have a great opportunity to network and meet your local players.Come back here and let us know how you're doing.

okay...sorry for the replicant posts...not sure how to delete them :)Just to make it clear..the actual lawn damage caused by the dog is only about $600 ..which i offered...but they want to replace the whole back yard (which apart from dog damaged area (150 sq ft) the rest is fine) and front yard...which had drainage/ irrigation issues - they've admitted that!...

However, my point was if you expect to replicate that by going to tax sales in only one area than yield might be a more appropriate metric if you only bought once per year and expected to get that stated return.
