Monitoring open windows isn't feasible in my case, but I can definitely monitor daily electricity usage online  

Look for distressed properties through online platforms or local agents.

They have a form you can fill out and submit, might be able to do it online depending on the city.

There is an online calculator that tells you how much interest you have to give them (no it doesn't matter if you actually made that amount of interest or not on the deposit).
