It does seem like a melting pot, especially in Greater Boise.Until my wife is back in the work force, which will be a few years, we are a one income family making around 80k with 70k in the bank.

The rotten wood brought melted snow and rain water along the grooves of the wood into the house where it created a nice waterfall in the hallway of the middle floor.

We had hoped for a little more life out of the roof, but after a heavy winter snow season, and below average cold keeping the snow from melting, the roof needed to be replaced.

@Theresa Harris oh that’s true—but just saying that melt downs happen in stressful situations and a meltdown isn’t an indication of bad parenting and it’s a false negative for a good tenancy.

------------------------------------Another type of house to avoid, are those in Florida, which are too low, & already, too low to sea-level, & which will be under ocean waters, as the world's oceans are predicted to rise, at least one foot, due to the glaciers are melting away in at the poles of the earth.

It was hilarious, the fumes were putrid but it was easier to scrape the melted gunk off but the old paint still stained the wood grain & the 'torched' decking was only 4x8.

Additionally, as the world's oceans rise, from the worlds glaciers melt away; then some parts of Florida will be under water, & geology can help finding places in Florida, that won't flood from the ocean.

Paid lots to have contractors melt the glue with a heat gun.
