On top of that, they require homeowners to hold the title for two years before being allowed to use the property as a short-term rental.

The tenants are currently in court with a title dispute so the house would have to be paid for cash only.I would like to convert it to a primary residence and turn the garden level into a separate two bedroom apartment for use as an in law suite.

I conducted title searches to confirm there are no liens and double-checked with the county to ensure there are no outstanding debts.
