We have an STR duplex in Mission Beach that uses a PM. 

Similarly, I do not expect in most areas of San Diego the STR regulations will have much impact on the rents.However, certain beach communities, such as Mission Beach where our STR is located, have enough STRs that there may be a resulting price decline but I would not view the price decline as a price reduction because the profit of the RE is substantially different when it cannot be used as an STR.I will use our STR as an example. 

I want to develop a mission statement, vision, and plan that I can share wIth future lenders and partners.

The San Diego city council recently passed regulations banning STRs (except in certain owner occupied situations) including in an area that is all rentals (Mission Beach) .

I'm a student in my last year at Texas A&M University,  and as you can see by my subject line, my current mission is to fight and scrap my way into the multifamily industry from the start.  

Maybe create an informal neighborhood organization with a set of goals and mission statement...

I grew up in Escondido before moving to pacific beach, then downtown, now mission hills (where I’m about to add a third story to my house since I can’t bring myself to pay cash for a bigger house in this market)Not trying to bag too much on Poway but I think it’s not the best example of what SD has to offer
