If that is the only configuration that works for the main floor then I would but the bathroom in the basement.

The four factors are: type, configuration, location and rent range.

Works best when you have a bigger lot of cabinets then the space or when you can use as previously configured.

Sometimes you're stuck with outdated space configurations, just thought that I'd add that...
