What happened next: celebrity death match to get the remaining tenants out?

With reality television shows famous celebrities and mentions on USA Today and CNN, fixing and flipping is becoming more and more popular is the Real estate market begins its turnaround.

Pretty cool to be able to celebrate together.

Sam Zell, the head of EQR, became a real estate celebrity when he sold his Equity Office Properties to Blackstone at the very peak of the last real estate bubble.  

I posted a link at least year ago to a New York Times article about a celebrity athlete that was prosecuted and is serving two years.

I understand this might be a difficult question as investors usually aren't celebrities and don't become widely known, but I'd like to know about any really successful RE investors, past or present.I like to read the biographies of people that have what I want and see what they went through to get there.
