- Tenant Screening for Pet Owners: What criteria should I use when screening potential tenants who have pets?

I'm guessing/hoping it's a combination of my screening, having a nicer than average unit and being responsive and respectful With the tenants.  

If I'm buying an investment property and the current tenants dont meet my screening criteria I need to know that up front.I usually assume that the current tenants either weren't screened or don't meet my criteria.
