USAA is saying that my insurance is going to expire in a few months and cannot be renewed unless renovations are completed.

Insurance for sure wouldn’t cover you.Just a thought and I could be completely wrong!

This could be an excellent option if you're looking to complete the remodel and cash them out as soon as possible.

(It was Hollywood and everybody has dogs)2) Somebody tried selling the appliances that came with the unit which included the fridge, dishwasher, stove & microwave.3) We were recently affected by the fires and had to evacuate, some tenants refused to evacuate even after police forced them to because they were "tougher than the fire".Have you heard of those horror stories about tenants completely trashing apartments and feces all over the apartment?

In fact my last completed purchase (I am under contract now for a different purchase) was huge negative cash flow.  

They one, aren't familiar with completing 203k loans or two..simply don't want to be bothered with them because they are more paperwork.  

Became very unresponsive very quickly, did not complete agreed upon work, made false claims about capacity and what they would do, etc.

My father is a contractor so we will be able to complete most of the work ourselves while keeping costs low and add equity.

The house was bought first week of decemeber with a finish date planned for March.The went over the time for completing the work and blamed it on the snow in the area.
