Hi Guys,I am doing a 1031 exchange for my SFH in Seattle and hope to swap for a MFH.

That is much cheaper than the minimum of $2,000 I have to pay just to swap out an existing gas furnace, assuming there are no alterations required for the duct-work and vent systems.$1,000 buys a LOT of insulation. 

I'd love to get a group together to network and swap stories, maybe a bit of goal setting and accountability partnering.

Ask around about a "swap and drop" purchasing strategy that might help in some markets (I say in a whisper).

If the broker is given a good reason and doesn’t at least swap agents the broker has failed their client.If the buyer has no good reason then of course, stick to your guns.

I've even found a wholesale HVAC place that let me set up an account with them earlier this year I swapped out a furnace and AC at one sfh I own.

I know that there are possibilities to swap it to a conventional but it could break the deal right.

I didn't charge but the garage was right there and I did some swapping between units so the oldest fridge is in the garage.
