I wouldn't want paint on the new cabinets or on the hardwood floor, it's open to the living room that has some crown moulding, etc, so I wouldn't care for that to be messed up either.

Maybe not all do, but that's what I've found.If you allow them to paint, you'll end up with paint on the floors, ceiling, windows, crown molding, etc.

@Kyle Inbody as far as the cabinets go, you'd be surprised at how far a fresh coat of good self leveling cabinet paint will take your kitchen, especially when coupled with some good subway tile and crown moulding against the bulkhead (personally the bulkhead bothers me the most).

The Red Hawk or Crowne Hill area are commonly the most desirable
