I'm in a very similar boat right now, I occupy a SFR in Turlock that I bought with the VA loan after I got out of the Army.

(For reference I’m a 6’8” Army vet who made it through the doctor process)

The ARM I have has fluctuated between 2.5% - 3%.

I went to a private Ivy League type prep school for eleven years, got completely sick of the politics (yes, there're plenty of politics in those types of schools, believe it or not), and joined the Army.

I got this in the Army, can't help it.

I'm in the Army and currently deployed.

@Mike Makkar  I crack up at your comment that Texas building costs are so high.. our costs are well over double what you guys pay you have some of the cheapest in the country.. you can build pretty cheap in metro Atlanta as well.land in the path of progress makes more millionaires than any buy and hold scenario unless you have A lot of buy and hold capacity..I bought a 4 acre piece in CA. in 1994 for 28k  NON buildable but bordered city.. it just finally got brought in.. and across the street the largest Indian gaming casino in the state was built over 300 million project.. we are about to get upzoned to flex resi commercial and I think my value at that time is about 3 million...

I recently exited the Army and am using my MGIB to go to school.

: 2 days after sending e-mails to an Altisource  worker (they are with Ocwen/Hubzu),  with a foreign accent, I was  hacked by an Indian microsoft impersonator.
