And yes I agree that the possibility of a short sale in the area of the subject property may be slim.

I've heard some people on here talking about doing flips in L.A and having pretty slim profit margins .

As far as getting them to pony up 5K, you MAY have some luck legally but the odds of it happening in the next 7 days are pretty slim.

@James AllenI'm in a similar situation where I've armed myself with lots of knowledge and found the pickings in the greater San Diego and surrounding areas to be slim to none from a numbers perspective.
