I've never said I was starting a REIA, I was contemplating the idea of getting together with other investing friends monthly to just chat about our deal flow/business.

I've been contemplating getting into this career path and would like to get some feedback on the general experiences that people who are commercial brokers have had.

Interesting I am contemplating something very similar.

(In pro-per) When (ever) I receive contact from the PR (In pro-per) and for whatever reason they're having a tough time keeping the court calendar appearance (mandatory) I refer to an attorney to whom I have a working relationship with and maybe get the listing in the future.So many probate files @Rick H. that for awhile I was also contemplating working Marin and San Mateo counties as well.But that would be to much on my plate.Right now I'm just enjoying the journey even if it gets bumpy...How's it going for you @Mark Gustafson in S.D.?

I'm contemplating on selling my first house over the next year or so because I no longer live in the same area.

For those that are contemplating doing a fund, it's a good time to start the process as that can take a bit longer than a typical syndication to set up. 

@Zee Abbas, I looked up the reported crime at this complex, and it looks like over the past year there were 8 reports of crime, including aggravated assault and burglary.

The trust companies follow the trustee sale guarantee guidelines given by the title companies which contemplate deceased debtors.

Then by all means pull some off the table, pay the tax, and be ready to deal again.Or the middle road you're contemplating works well for a risk averse investor.  

I have a rental I've had for 8 years or so and I'm contemplating an exit.
