I think its designed to make you think there are two identical bids and you must up yours to win.

When the roof goes bad, it costs what it costs to replace ... doesn't matter if it is a $50k house or a an identical $500k house in a different market ... doesn't matter if the rent is $600/mo or $3000/mo.

I owe 360k on it and smaller condos in area are selling for 560k right now, but the last two identical units sold in my complex went for 450k Feb. 2017 and 459k Nov. 2017.

Since the pattern repeats in the next box, its important to manage the installation so that two identical patterns (from separate boxes) don't lay side-by-side.  

Rents 1150 newer tenant & 925 longtime tenant, identical units which leads me to be optimistic about raising 925 up over time.
