When I bring a house back to life that was vacant/abandoned, and you put new paint, update it and you meet the person  that loves it and genuinely needs it-- that brings me happiness.    

But when I joined BP I really appreciated the genuine demeanor and positivity of most members.

I genuinely - as I typically operate - tried to make sure that he would somehow be compensated.

Thus I genuinely feel its crazy to try BRRRR remotely in a new city, and think people buying turnkey are just asking to get screwed over. 

Standards are important and I'd never advise anyone to go through with a deal that they genuinely aren't comfortable with, but obsessing and spreadsheeting has killed a lot of deals for beginners that I've seen more experienced Buyers pick up and be excited about, with little-to-no issues. 

If doing something like this will genuinely hinder my ability to get a new business off the ground in the next year or so (which it's starting to sound like it may), I'm just gonna have to suck it up and wait until then.  

We have a genuine passion for real estate investing and always want to improve our business model.

I won’t say everyone at that meet up was a saint, there were a few folks doing and saying some things that I wouldn’t, but the vast majority were real genuine people with straightforward intentions and a ton of generosity.

If you have zero bias and go in with a genuine approach of mutual respect, that is often reciprocated.

He's not rented for 20 years or more, so he genuinely thought that offering to prepay the rent was a way to convince me to lower the price, which he was concerned about due to fixed income.
