My question is whether I then have to be under the supervision of a broker in order to subscribe to the MLS?

You can subscribe for business advantage pro for 31$ a month and get unlimited access to any lawyer and accountants.  

I will be creating a Seacoast NH Group somewhere so we can subscribe, but I am posting it on the Events section here and EventBrite.

You might consider investing in other peoples' syndication deals as a subscriber first.
