I got a brand new fridge & stove last thanksgiving at dirt cheap prices we couldn't pass up, with no storage, we stored it outside with a few tarps... to my dismay-- they survived.. 3 snow storms, i was really nervous.. worried we threw away $$... but after 3 snow storms and a very harsh, cold winter. 6 months later... they survived... which makes me your fridge was just on it's last leg!
