But all these macro-economic factors are hard to predict and I would rather invest in a known thing like RE than speculate on global inflation and global gold consumption.

For investors in the United States it’s worth keeping an eye on only as it affects the global economy.

The next global meltdown I believe will be much worse than 2008 and more like the 1929 crash.

Looking forward to finding like-minded CRE professionals with expereince and/or interest in Commercial Real Estate, with an emphasis in Industrial Properties in the Inland Empire. 

The reason to think that the US west coast isn't affected by real estate like the rest of the country is because the cities of the west coast are self-sustained to a higher degree than other cities, with truly global economies, and global real estate investment money.

I will also add extra emphasis on researching "where" the property is located, especially in KC. 

However, never discount black swans, which can be triggered by any number of global events.

I'm not putting a huge emphasis on commission split as I'm ok with 'paying' for the training and support that comes with a franchise brokerage, I know I won't have a clue what to do if I just hang my license with a transaction brokerage void of any training..
