Door knocking is time consuming and i would only doorknock properties that have equity and no curb appeal. 

In my area I'd focus first on interior kitchens, baths, flooring, appliances, laundry and then curb appeal landscaping to attract higher quality tenants at the higher end of the market rent. 

Needed some minor cleaning, paint, got the yard growing better to create the curb appeal, build a lower deck, and finish the basement that I did all myself.

Initially speaking to the sussex zoning guy he made it seem that the zoning permit would be no big deal, wouldn't require a survey, and just asked us to draw a simple diagram of where the building is located on the property relative to the neighbor's wall, front curb, etc. 

That is a positive.I see no signage indicating it's apartments, no tombstone sign, no building signs. no NOW RENTING banners, no flags at the curb indicating Now Renting, (no unit being used as a temp rental office where you can sit all business day--you have 100% vacancy--12 units!!!)

I'd love to hear what are something's you all are doing to add curb appeal to your properties? 

I've honestly gotten better suggestions from other posts than from the gaggle posting here, telling me what a horrible PM I must be and should kick these kids to the curb...I don't know whether to laugh my *** off at the sheer unprofessional responses or delete my account here and never load this page again. 

In order to curb this they are going to have to contract the money supply.
