If you buy good rentals, in good neighborhoods, screen tenants, and are genuinely interested in providing them with a good living experience, you'll get fewer complaints.  

I should add, like others have stated, that like the second hand contact/inhalation of cigarette carcinogens, the ingestion of toxic spores would take quite some time to genuinely make you ill, aside from maybe a little runny nose or small headache...which brings me back full circle to the "myriad of other illnesses."

You really just have to have a genuine conversation with them and figure out why they're looking to sell.

It puts a bad name for those that genuinely want to support aspiring investors to start their portfolios. 

I asked if she was aware of their history when she rented to them and she said she was.They seemed like pretty genuine people.

If you're genuinely afraid she's going to shoot you on your way up the stairs and want to use that to get her out, though, I'd recommend you move out now; staying around and saying 'howdy' as you pass her in the hall isn't a great way to show the seriousness, on your end, of these death threats.Let us know the solution!

I genuinely believe that ethical RE investors are held to a higher expectation and, therefore, we need to step up and forward in difficult and trying situations.

I believe being genuinely into the moving parts of real estate investing such as the construction process, the numbers, marketing, and creativity make the process worth it no matter what.

At any rate, it seems highly unlikely that you are genuine.
