When trying to verify, you cannot ask anything about the disability...only ask if they met with this person/animal and signed the document you have.If you present a clear and well prepared policy, you are showing that YOU know the rules, and expect that they will too.

I am retired Army and a disabled veteran myself but I was not familiar with this program.

Life insurance also has protections for divorce, bankruptcy, and taxes while you are alive, and there are living benefits if you are to become disabled, or get cancer, or lose a limb.  

However, it makes sense if they are more for student housing, disabled, elderly, or homeless, financially challenged people who would have difficulty paying the deposits to turn on utilities. 

Since we are both 100% disabled veterans, we each get the 100% property tax exemption and we currently don't pay properties taxes on our primary residence.

I have service connected disability compensation but in no way does it hinder me!

I don't want them to take my disability as I'm 80 percent disabled.

I was merely on social security disability and had very little prospect of being able to do anything.

Her disability was that she was an obsessive/compulsive cleaner.
