We’re currently applying for the mortgage on the new property, it’s a 5 unit so shouldn’t be relying on our personal finances but the bank I’m using is conservative and is apparently looking at them.

The only issue i can see arise is if your credit needs to be re-run and the score comes back lower due to the hard pull causing there to be some sort of issue where you have to bring more money down or don't qualify at all. 

Does zoning allow for the building to be re-positioned?
