Hi @Young Moon, There are some good backup Replacement Property options available when a client is unable to locate suitable Replacement Property on their own.

You would be able to take all the time that you need to locate and identify suitable replacement property and then put it under contract and close on the purchase through the Reverse 1031 Exchange.  

I'm in expensive Northern VA and ended up deciding it made more sense to buy a suitable house further away from the city than closer to work.

The tile will come down over the flange to create a suitable gap that you will caulk at the end of this project.
