The furthest is about 8 minutes from home, the closest is 3 minutes.  23 front doors, 83 beds, 60 televisions, 26 washers, 27 dryers, 30 refrigerators, 18 grills, 1500 previous renters.There is no tourism in this town; just drugs, prostitution, unemployment, crime and general misery. 

I've been in rental business for awhile and had not yet heard of this.. makes you wonder if they can go to a restaurant and eat the steak.. and not pay,, but say.. yup I'm bankrupt..

That's the closest market to me in my playing field.

Most other cities that I have studied have some of the best most expensive real estate closest to downtown.

For example, in the state of Texas, where you are from, you have to do it as a seller financing (or owner financing) deal (which requires that the seller owner should own the property free and clear), or as a wrap around mortgage deal (which is the closest to a subject-to deal).

The larger ones are installed at the furthest radiators and the smaller ones closest to the boiler.
