A rental wouldn't be commercial, but it sounds like it wouldn't be covered because I wouldn't be living in the same residence where the carpet was installed.Or, if the tenant paid for the carpeting and you reimbursed me for the carpeting, the warranty would only apply insofar as long as the tenant stayed there and wouldn't be transferable to the owner or to the next tenant.Thanks everybody for this help.

To that point, you are required to have some Cash upfront to start the Rehab, until you complete a portion and get reimbursed.

@Chris Mooney I am using VOC REHAB to pay for my post-licensing education and they might reimburse my for my license class too. 

Since it only runs $150/years, I considered reimbursing tenants for it.

I asked for some reimbursement of the cost of the flooring, and they originally agreed, but now nothing.

Some of the water companies won't let you put it in a tenant's name, and for those, you will get the bill and have the tenant reimburse you.
