Real estate brokerages should eventually consolidate to be a more professional, service-oriented system, not commission and sales based, that would save most sellers thousands and improve the overall strength of the market by not making sellers have to pay 9% or more of their home's value just to sell, not to mention the transfer taxes, etc.

Places that are more family-oriented (find these by school and store location) cater better to larger home buys with 3+ rooms and yards (although yards can be expensive to maintain.)Good luck.

I like something like place and go rubber tiles which tolerate a little unevenness, carpet is cheaper and also tolerates some unevenness, lino is cheaper and great for a utilty basement area rugs can always.
