At this stage in my investing career I don't buy things that don't cash flow, so if the fixer upper is going to bleed cash until it's fixed, I wouldn't invest in it. 

It takes a little bit of detective work, because the estates are at different stages when they are finally published.

Suburban markets outside of NYC like Long Island and Westchester continue to see price growth and high demand.That said, NYC's median sale price is about double the national average so speaking with a lender is recommended at this early stage.

Far too many get stuck in the "paralysis by analysis" stage, thinking they just don't know enough to get started.

My current focus is on securing my first deal under contract using PropStream & Off-Market strategies I am eager to connect with experienced investors who can provide insights or advice to help me navigate the early stages of my real estate journey.

In these initial stages, focus on building your core4 of agent/deal finder, lender, property manager, and contractor for the market.

I am more thinking of moving forward, I am at a stage where I am looking to acquire 6 to 10 properties from now through 2025 (that's the plan) and I was inquiring as to the best way to own those properties that would offer asset protection and tax advantages.

You may be better served fixing your credit rather than involving an equity partner at this early stage of your investing career.
