I’ve been renting to Section 8 tenants for years, particularly in Detroit, and I’m happy to share my experiences and help answer your questions.Is investing in Section 8 housing a good idea?

I recently just purchased a duplex and plan to rent out one side for section 8/VA VASH program.

Can you explain this section in more detail?

We were under contract for another place and walked away because of a 2" drop in the house in one corner caused by the foundation not going below grade and the owners not willing to do anything.

The property has to meet very minimal requirements to be allowed to be rezoned (section C).
