Inflation isn't necessarily caused by new purchases, a large component of it is a psychological expectation of higher prices.As far as new purchases leading to higher inflation, I barely even saw a slowdown in my market (North Dallas) and very few price cuts.

I have a B.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (very helpful when working with tenants), M.A. in Organizational Psychology/Consumer Psychology (business form of psychology).

I also believe there is a psychology behind a business name, logo and advertising.

There seems to be a psychological barrier at the $1,000/mo mark for SFHs near 7 and 8 Mile.
