I am under the impression that PF and RP aren't hotspot markets right now.

In 2014, another great job offer in the media industry helped convince me to relocate to Manhattan NY, but I have quickly grown tired of contributing to someone else's "baby".  

I am a PF junkie and this is exactly how I justified buying my new Subaru.  

I'm assuming it's because you need deep pockets to do much in Manhattan?

For background, I live in NYC (Manhattan) in a rental and am interested in purchasing a property in East Hampton partly for personal use to escape the city and also partly to generate rental income to offset the mortgage costs.
