In person is better than over the phone if possible, as I have been told by annoyed or lazy clerks "NO STR allowed" as that was the easy button to get me off the phone, or if they are anti STR.

Could it be considered piercing the corporate veil if the mortgage for the property is in your personal name but the deed is in the name of the LLC?

I personally wouldn't buy an old home as a rental, I only buy 1980 or newer for myself, all of my properties are in the north part of Gilbert built between 1985-2003.
