Hello BP - I am filing a failure to pay rent complaint against a tenant in Grand Rapids, MI.

I’m ok with it taking a while and some paperwork though and up to a couple grand in legal fees especially if I get to keep my downpayment and my parcel.  

I’ve seen counties “grand fathering” STR owners for a set amount of time.

Or you’ll have this tenant’s grand kids as tenants in 30 or 40 years.

We have several great areas for out of state investors like yourself to consider like Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek etc.

I see that you are local to the Grand Rapids Area.

Some are data driven and profit driven, others are emotionally driven and have grand visions of great appreciation through long-term holds.

I like the idea, however, I think your idea on whom you would attract may be a little too grand.

They don't realize, or can't consider investing in any other asset or asset class and see a similar or better yield/return  --- I guess kinda a pet peeve of mine.So, in reality I don't see seller financing helping the seller sometimes, in the grand scheme --- but it maybe the best they know how to move forward. 

That's worth at LEAST another 5 grand!"
