As an example, if you're not buying a lot of paint from Sherwin Williams, you'll pay $40-50/gallon these days; if you're a big paint buyer, you can get that down to under $20/gallon.

And they cant afford another $ 400 for 100 gallons .

For instance  I paid less than a dollar per gallon for gas 30 years ago.  36 years ago I paid 0.33 a gallon for gas.  

Specifically, go with LED bulbs(not the lousy ones from Ace hardware, but good ones with nice light quality,) and a .8 gallon per flush toilet(from Home Depot- Niagara Stealth) and a 1.75 gpm showerhead.

There are still 2 55 gallon drums with some combination of oil and other fluids.
