I first started on cruising sites (Sailing) where I was researching the cruising life for an early retirement while the kids are still young.

I look forward to cruising this site to expand my knowledge and hopefully build some connections.  

The general is as follows:-have a builder that owns a property with a partner on a British Overseas Territory-vacation destination with soon-to-increase traffic via increase in major cruise line stops-they have additional property to offer (at least a portion of) as collateral-plan to build 13 condominium units to sell (already permitted); builder claims to be able to construct in 5 months-looking for an individual or organization interesting in financing the project as a Joint VentureNeed an appropriate staging ground (perhaps within this site?)

I remember my in-laws, after going on several cruises, remarked how, "Almost everybody we meet on these cruises made their money in real estate!"  

Constant inspections, have police cruise through the apartments every now and then, warn the neighbors with little girls that someone in the neighborhood is a convicted child molester. 

I was a longtime lurker, as well, cruising the forums and resources.

Everyone has a different life and definition of happiness.Some would go through torture to extract another 3% out of a property annually and others are happy with XX percent and putting their life on cruise control with a higher quality asset.There are still deals out there but it is a lot of work.

One time I cruised my motorcycle thru some LA County desert stuff and it felt like someone was blowing a hot hair dryer on me.
