Most professional property managers - those of us who have been in the biz for a LONG TIME - interview prospective client/owners as much as we interview the property itself.If a client/owner starts tellin me how to run their property, I give them the names of two of my "lesser" competitors to call and interview.

Realtors usually send extremly watered down property profiles, and keep the broker detailed reports for themselves.Either way, until there is some other site that is a reasonable competitor to the MLS, it is unlikely that investors and everyday people will be able to access information on properties for sale.

Do not buy a domain name if both the home an house version are not taken.I get quite a few leads from checking competitors who advertise and only have one domain.
