Sure, you bolster the money in your account by profiting from the flip, but I fail to see a major advantage.

My conclusion after talking to a different inspectors, agents, and some of the most successful investors was this: If I'm trying to make real estate investing my full-time, then I should work on bolstering the areas I enjoy/am good at today instead of trying to do trades that only indirectly relate to my goal of becoming a full time investor. 

Also, you can bolster your offer with the bank's asset manager by including comps indicating that other similar foreclosed MF's and SFR's are in fact selling at 50x mthly rents or less, and point out all flaws, time to get leased, etc....

The videos are bolstered by a member forum with people posting a variety of things, and where questions can also be asked, but not necessarily answered professionally, whoever there is some good information available through searches.

You will have to live in it for a couple years to use the loan but it will help you build equity in the property and bolster your investment. 

If you're cash flowing $200 on each, there's a $1,000 that you're probably saving to bolster your emergency fund for these properties.

Then, when you can show the income from 2014, that will bolster your case and they can add back things like depreciation and home office to offset your loss somewhat.  

To help bolster your case have your PM and agent write up a statement explaining where in the articles the violations occurred.
