I am a teacher, but my wife (not married legaly) thankfully makes a bit more than I.

I have enjoyed visiting this forum and find it to be one of the best on the internet.I'm new to REI and have a very ambitious short term goal of creating a minimum of $7,500/month income from real estate so I can quit my full time job and do this full time.It appears from my research that the most viable area for me to focus on is Wholesaling in that I want fast results without using much of my own money or credit.I respect the suggestions of the more experienced investors on this forum because I believe experience is the best teacher although it can be painful and expensive.So I'm excited to be here and look forward to some great times.Much Success!

Work on your leverage stragedy.Meaning find some other teachers or colleagues who would be interested in what you are doing.

Be they good teachers, great Doctors, Vets, hard-working scientists, engineers, realtors, lenders, store owners, single Moms/Dads, if their lives somehow improved theirs AND others', I listen carefully to all they have to say

I want to buy a rental for no more than 75k using my wife's (were not married) credit, Then buy a bigger home for us using my first time buyer incentives (teacher with great credit) and rent the home we live in now that I am going to refi, giving me two rentals.

In fact, I think a firefighter, teacher, or rental property owner with absolutely no political experience would make an infinitely better president than these clowns.Mike

As a teacher in my former life, I can tell you that our high school students have little financial information when they leave school.
