It does appear that we need more information about actual ability to pay the rent but in reading between the lines it appears that there will be two more adults living in the property, so we have more information to gather.

Insurance would cover it, I would pay the deductible, and no assets would be lost.If you are in an area like San Diego where people are more likely to sue, a judge is more likely to find you guilty, and the payout is expected to be higher, you may consider an umbrella insurance policy.

The only thing they get is their pay for a few months while they are not working.

Have them pay a week or two before they arrive when they are past your cancellation period.

It's a great way to get into a property without needing to pay a large down payment. 

Math can sometimes be fuzzy for me but when you pay yourself $7 million and send back $1 million, you're not contributing.

@Naresh Yegireddi- This is above my pay grade but I was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal today about how the highest-earning 10% of Americans account for more than 50% of consumer spending.

I think think of the reasons to evict a tenant in 2 categories, failure to pay, and other kinds of lease violations.
