Carolyn McBride Foundation Question: Are Push Piers Worth It or Are There Other Options?
20 February 2024 | 5 replies
I'm also aware of self-leveling compound, but I believe that may be just a bandaid solution to the cosmetic issue but will not address the risk of future settlement.I wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone has any thoughts about whether push piers and house lifting would be a worthy investment or if it's just a total scam/rip off?
Chuck L. Pros and cons of this 66% ROI with duplex rentals
12 October 2016 | 19 replies
In fact, 10 years compound interest for $60k at 15% would arrive at $266,413.Which means your ROI is right around 15%/y - NOT $66% (given that it's fairly cash neutral otherwise, and the value of the Duplexes doesn't actually go DOWN - plenty will). So I'm still curious about your 66% ROI reference?

I've had quite a few people reach out for extended stays on our AirBnB (1-6 months long) but nothing has ever worked out (often because the Airbnb fee gets outrageous when compounded for long periods of time). Are there other sites that are furnished rental specific?

Yeah stainless is great, and the advances in concrete are wonderful.I do have to say I love my cutting board, and butcher block in my shop, but until the wood is seasoned if it is not taken care of then it will, well very possibly can, warp /bow/twist, but a quick sanding does get rid of damage.Depending on the rent range I hear the new laminates can do well too.A seemingly good comparison:http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/chooosing-kitchen-...Hope it helps.
Michael Figueroa SMART PEOPLE ONLY - Lets get lost in the weeds here

This is just a form of compounding my return, by accessing it multiple times instead of once.Albert Einstein was a pretty smart gut, and when asked what he thought was the greatest invention of the 20th century he didn't say the car, the airplane, the wheel or fire...he said Compound Interest.
