If the lender's model incentivises behavior that increases the probability of borrowers defaulting... that spells trouble for borrowers... so don't borrow money from lenders like this.From a person looking at getting into hard money lending though... it makes a lot of sense to partner with somebody who has been-there-and-done-that... and has a proven model to decrease risk and make a win-win-win situation for the investor, lender, and borrower
