You'd have to pin that to those on the political right my friend; progressives don't approve of a corporate take-over of the government, the Supreme Court defending such policies as Citizens United, the surveillance state, torturing or drone-killing, or the failure to separate church and state.

Those spots are being redeveloped and thus commanding higher rents and people were furious calling the press, lawyers, they picketed outside their complex, But in the end the property owner defended himself saying he was within his rights to increase the rents and You are within your rights to charge what you want for rent, You give proper written notice of increase per the lease terms, He can decide to stay or not.

If you are sued for the big one, the insurance company can simply pay the limit of liability and walk away, leaving you on your own to defend yourself, having more than you need means the Ins. company won't be walking away and will defend the suit to the end!

Uber claims they will defend or pay the fine .( usually $5000 and up ) I don’t see Airbnb advising  or offering hosts any solutions or platform help.I think it’s time Airbnb does the right thing and spend a few hours on platform restrictions.
