Foundation cracks, horizontal or otherwise, tend to be more troubling when there has been movement of one, or both sides of the crack/fault.If that is simply parging over brick, it is also possible your crack is a washed out mortar joint between two courses of brick - then you have a new mystery to find out from where came the water.Is the inside face of the foundation wall visible?

What I was saying is that he continues to refer to "speculators" as dice rollers and that his comparisons to cash flow and appreciation/speculation are unfair.A typical definition of a speculator is 'someone that takes large risks, especially with respect to anticipating future price movements, or gambling, in the hopes of making large gains.'
