It has hardwood floors and wood paneling throughout.

Completely gutted and rebuilt kitchen and bathrooms and refinished the hardwood floors.

Found a house we liked that had a lot of potential, and needed some cosmetic work, which the seller had been planning to do (refinish hardwood floors, paint interior, stuff like that).

Harvesting for pulp and some hardwood and pine has covered all the taxes, but little beyond that.

We're under contract on our first investment property, a duplex built in 1900 and it has the original hardwoods. 

I spent a bit too much on things like spray foam, solid doors, crown molding(nearly everywhere), hardwood flooring and converting house to gas.  

I do tile and triple-polyurethaned solid hardwood in the very cheapest of rentals.

I also refinish hardwoods and put a couple coats of poly on them too if the house has floors that are in good shape.
