Hello, We are in the planning and permitting stages of a SFR remodel in Seattle WA and we have an urgent need for a Structural Engineer to work with our architect, to help in drawing up the structural plans for the Seattle city building permits.

Once you have your research together, then you would need to concept the idea (target market, buyer profile, product type, architect concept rough drawings) and then approach your investors. 

.- Need to do a 550-600sf addition Kitchen/Living room/half bath/Laundry space (this will attach current home and adu together)- Remodel current homeWould an architect be able to assess my land to see if I have any foundation or structural issues? 

I just did this up here but we used a Commercial Architect who did an amazing job as the building was pre 1960's.

@Xander Tertychny  I just noticed that you're also an architect. 

Currently, we are finalizing the floorplan with an architect so that we can move forward to pricing the project build with the GC.

Local famous architects prefer to do basement and replace house good brick foundation as first project and then ADU. 

We have an in house architect at my day job who does plans like that.
