If the politics at the location where you want to invest in has a pro-tenant/anti-landlord political leaning, then you should think very hard about investing there as such locations only get harder and harder for landlords as these type of laws usually get worse, not better over time. 

My allergy to starvation soon kicked-in so in order to eat I had to either a) lie and say I could deliver lower rates and terms than I really could then switch to the true rate and terms at the end after borrower was locked in, or b) only work with borrowers with quick and simple loan scenario's that I felt were only working with me.  

I brown bag everything (severe food allergies prevent eating out most of the time), drive 2 cars that are 11 years old and have no car payments and have minimal credit card debt.

It was just no credit history because they were anti-debt kind of people. 

Looking into rental in states that are not 100% anti-landlord.

@Angeline Mentor I'm in New York which has very strict anti discrimination / Fair Housing practices.  

People can take medicinal marijuana by other means than smoking.

Due to my daughter's severe allergies, and not wanting to chance the idea of pet dander being in the ducts and/or the carpet, I chose to cancel.

Personally, i don't believe the practice is illegal/discriminatory but you never know in today's anti-small business world.....thank you for your time.
