Did you celebrate after that first big check or did you put it right back in the business?

We're not a vacation spot so most people that stay with us for a night or two are in the area for an event of some type such as a graduation, wedding, conference, etc.

Most of the people I know that are financially challenged read plenty of Hollywood magazines and celebrity blogs but would put a big "L" on my forehead for reading (listening) to what I read. 

Good morning and Happy 4th to those that celebrate....I woke up this morning and had a thought about this....I always fix (if needed) things prior to any tenants moving in so there is always a fresh clean and fixed start.I am a big advocate of NOT disturbing my tenants while in their home.I might be in a situation though that is not allowing me to do this prior to and don't want to loose the tenant and $$$.

Having said that, my fiancé and I are getting married in May and I was planning on saving money through the winter and getting started investing after my wedding in the spring.

Our initial thoughts was to update some of the property to have more amenities to add to the guest experience and to offer it as a wedding venue.

That banker in the little corner office in your home town branch may be on a career path that parallels your growing real estate business and the relationship may turn out to be a valuable asset far into the future.On the other hand I think if people know what you do for a living and know that you “work with your hands” as they say, and you appear in a suit and tie and it's not a wedding or a funeral, they're going to think you are overdoing it.

He does a great job in turn key rentals and isn't wed to any particular city or state. 

By the way this guy is the husband of one of my best girlfriends who I’ve known for years and was in their wedding...

Also, would Wed the 3rd work instead?
