There will be lots of festive bites and drinks to showcase some New Orleans favorites.

Later I found out they buy wet dog food, get all sorts of government subsidies, get free food from the local pantries; they smoke, they drink, it goes on.Your renters may think they are entitled to more if you raise rent.  

They are slurping an umbrella drink while you sweat cutting their grass.

It's like posting drink when you are thirsty and eat when you are hungry. 

I am looking to set up a lunch, dinner or drinks with other investors in the area. 

Don't drink the cool-aid but start reading.

Millennials do not like to gamble but do like to spend money eating, drinking and dancing.  

I'd guess that with either job you'll be hard pressed to have the time to actively invest in real estate on the side unless you're able to find properties that are basically hands-off, or you drink a heart-pounding amount of coffee.
