@Villy - Destin is one area we’re considering!

As things are starting to open back up around here, were seeing a lot of built up demand especially from those in the greater LA/SD area, where drive up destinations are more preferable and attainable.

Kansas City is considered a perfect destination for real estate investment due to a variety of factors:-- Thriving local economy: Kansas City is home to several major corporations, including Sprint, Hallmark, and H&R Block.

Lots of people go to Hawaii and other exotic destinations to "research real estate investment".

While it is close to Joshua Tree and not too far from Palm Springs, I have never thought of 29 Palms as a viable vacation destination..

If I were to purchase a short term rental it would be in Fl in areas such as Panama City Beach and Destin.

I focus From Pensacola to destin.

I could literally, by just taking a couple extra seconds deduct, every single bit of mileage on my car even though I'm using it for personal use at or along the way to the business destination.  

Handing them your house, mortgage responsibility and HOA responsibility in a sketchy back room deal doesn't seem destined for greatness.
